How To: The first steps to get a game.

Make sure that you have selected the right game for your phone. Please ensure that the information on the top right of the screen in the settings page is correct. If not, click the settings link to select the correct phone. Your phone must be WAP enabled, so please make sure that you've verified your phone's wireless downloading capabilities with your carrier. We also want to remind you that when you purchase a game, you are purchasing one download only. Once the game has been downloaded, it is stored in your phone's memory and can be played at any time.
Please note that you must pay an additional cost for your navigation service as well. This cost may vary from carrier to carrier.

After you have selected your phone model from the list, you will be directed to the game catalog. You can then view additional information about each game (game genre, storyline, required memory space, etc.) by selecting games individually.
Once you have chosen the game you wish to download, you can pay for it by SMS, credit card, PayPal, or directly from your carrier.

After you've paid for the game, you will receive an SMS with a link for the download. If you need further assistance with the download, check the download page for your particular game.

Gameloft products can be selected as downloadable software from our online store. We accept absolutely no returns on game downloads. Should you be unable to download the game, select a game that is incompatible with your phone, lack sufficient credit to download it, or have a problem with your internet service, you will not be refunded. If you complete payment more than once, you will not be refunded. We reserve the right to replace your purchase with another game in exchange. If for any reason you do not receive the game or find yourself unable to install it because of a technical problem, we will gladly resend it and work with you to resolve the problem.

Many carriers sell our games directly from their own service. T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange, SFR, Rogers, Bouygues, and many others sell our games. In most cases, you can purchase the games from their multimedia or internet service, or sometimes from their website. For more information on what games are available from your carrier, and how to buy them, please contact them directly.

When buying via Premium SMS, you will be charged directly to your mobile phone bill. The number of messages required and the cost of each message varies by country, and this service is not available everywhere.

Find a game that interests you by viewing our catalog, then click "Buy Now". If Premium SMS payment is available in your country, "By SMS" will appear on the left side of the screen. Click it to see the premium SMS instructions that are appropriate for your country, along with the cost of the game.

If your phone doesn't appear on Gameloft's site, it is not supported. Picking an alternate phone, even if the model numbers are similar, will not work. Before adding a phone, we perform various tests to make sure that we can maintain the quality that gamers expect from Gameloft.
However, we regularly add new phones to our website. If your phone isn't listed on the site, please check back regularly. If it's a popular phone, it's likely we will add it as soon as we can.

Please check back regularly to see if we added your language to the list.

If your country or carrier doesn't appear on Gameloft's site, it means that it's not available at the moment. Do not enter another country or carrier, as the purchase will not be successful if you do. We expand our coverage monthly, so please visit regularly.

Gameloft only supports downloading games over the mobile internet (WAP) and not any other method such as by cable, infrared, or Bluetooth. If you try to download a game to your PC to later transfer it to your phone, it will not work and the game download will no longer be valid for your phone.

The error message "Sorry, but the selected game is not available for your phone. Below is a selection of games we recommend for your device" indicates that we don't yet support your handset for the selected game or for the selected carrier. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

When installing games on certain Motorola phones, a message may appear saying that the application may have limited functionality. This is a default message that always appears when installing games to these phones. Because it's a message displayed by the phone itself, we have no control over it. However, before being sold, all of our games are fully tested to conform to our high quality standards, despite any messages that may appear. Therefore, what you receive is the full game, certified to work on your phone.

If you get an error message such as "connection timed out", "unable to connect to server", or "subscribe to GPRS first", this would likely indicate that your phone is not correctly configured to access the mobile internet (WAP). The exact configuration can vary by your model of phone, your type of service, and your carrier. Therefore, please contact your carrier to find the correct configuration required for your phone.
